Draw Something founder only had $1,700 on his bank account
Charles Foreman, the founder of the Draw Something game didn’t know what was happening the day he launched the game Draw Something. Within no time this social game became outrages popular. The downloads were still increasing till the day Zynga took over the world famous game. For all start-ups this story gives hope!
Shareholder
Before OMGPOP launched Draw Something the design studio was almost at his end. Foreman wasn’t even working anymore in his company in New York but (luckily) he was still shareholder of the company. Let’s hope for the person that came up with this game that he/ she owns some shares as well!
“I had $1,700 in my bank account yesterday and now I have a whole lot more”.
This is what Charles Foreman, founder of OMGPOP told in his interview with The New York Times. Last week Zynga took over OMGPOP for $180m and we can conclude that the bank account of mister Foreman end with the number 1.700. In the interview he refused to tell how big the amount is but he confirmed that it is a lot higher than $22m.
Angry Birds
Draw Something became massive but to give you an idea we compared the game with the most popular game of all times Angry Birds. Draw Something has been downloaded 35million times since the launch on February 7th 2012. The new game of Angry Birds was downloaded 10 million times within 3 days!

I Wish I has $1700 in the bank =) Lucky dude though he made 200 million in a few weeks.. Not many people who can say that, not even Justin Bieber.
